The Catalogue of Contemporary Slovak Dramatists
The four-language catalogue focuses on contemporary Slovak drama and its personalities who have been writing drama in the recent twenty years. It brings an article giving a basic picture about developing tendencies, trends and the state of contemporary Slovak drama and alphabetical profile of thirty-three Slovak dramatists. There are also addresses of the dramatists as well as their pictures by Ctibor bachratý. The catalogue was published in Slovak, English, French and German within the co-operation between the Theatre Institute and the European Translation Workshop. It was issued as a part of the OPEN programme of the international European Translation Workshop project with a support of the European Union and the Culture 2000 programme.

Architectural Concept of the Reconstruction and Revitalization of the Jonáš Záborský Theatre's historical building in Prešov

The historical theatre building in Prešov belongs to the oldest theatre buildings in Slovakia. During the period from 1992 to 2001 it had been fundamentally reconstructed according to the design by Štefan Mitro and now it belongs to the most beautiful buildings of its kind in Slovakia. In 2003 the architectural design by Štefan Mitro received the CE.ZA.AR annual prize presented by the Slovak Chamber of Architects in the Reconstruction and Revitalization of Historical Monuments category.
The CD-ROM covering the process of the reconstruction of the Jonáš Záborský Theatre in Prešov was included in the accompanying documentation of the Slovak Exhibition in the Architecture Section of the Prague Quadrennial 2003.

KioSK – Digital Showcaseoffers a complete view on contemporary theatrical scene in Slovakia. It is designed as a multi-media “stand”– a kiosk with two “stands” where there are two desks – IMPORT and EXPORT - offering to the visitors information about independent theatrical (multi-media) places in Slovakia and the artists or ensembles whose work is connected with theatre but it moves on the border between genres. For a possible co-operation, the IMPORT icon presents six places (A4 – nultý priestor and Studio 12, both in Bratislava, Cementáreň in Banská Bytrica, IC – Culture Train in Košice, The Lúč Club in Trenčín and the Žilina – Zárečie Station) and consists of information about their objectives, pictures of their space, ground plan and contacts. The EXPORT icon presents 19 theatrical projects by 15 individual artist or groups and presents profiles of creators, technical rider and video extracts.
